Mo is eighteen years old. She got through high school! Now she's spending the summer in Amsterdam taking an art class, before she heads off to college in the fall. She plays her guitar on the sidewalks for tourists and meets other musicians and artists. Her favorite is a German woman named Elka, a sax player who lives in a world of travelers that Mo has never imagined. Carrying her past in a journal, Mo explores her first experiences of love, as she moves into her future.
